1) Where there is a will, there is a way. Height did not stand in his way. He just stood upon the word of God!

2) Practice makes perfect. This young man was practicing to be a better preacher and song-leader. Do we practice such?

3) Have a solid foundation. Though one might suggest he was trampling underfoot the Son of God, it seems that this child of God was using it as a solid foundation for his lesson.

4) “Train up a child in the way that he should go...” (Prov. 22:6). Whether he grows to be a preacher of the gospel or a song leader or simply leads souls in prayer or teaches a class, this young man has given us an example to follow in the way we should go.
